Structure of the ranking system
We have decided to revamp the ranking system. Here is a post describing what all of the new rankings mean:
Leader - Raid Leader, Banker, Recruitment, Website Management, Theorycrafting, Officer all in one. The creators of the guild, the two people who do whatever they have to for the guild and to keep it going strong.
Banker - watches the Guild Bank. Takes materials out and puts them in correct tabs, buys things from AH that are cheap and keeps the guild bank going strong.
Officer - apart of the Officer team who do many things inside and outside of raid, discuss strategies, minmax their own character and research as well as keeping the website up-to-date.
Catalyst - someone who the raid depends on, goes above and beyond what is asked of them, never or rarely makes a mistake, ALWAYS on-time and ready to raid. This will be the "Employee of the Month" rank, someone can hold this rank as long as they can, however when they make a mistake, be late to raid or anything else of that nature they are instantly demoted. It is used as a rank progression tool to try to stay at that rank as long as you can. Maximum amount of people who can be this rank at one time is 5.
Versed - Rank that has shown initiative in developing the guild and is an elite position, having the ability to help with guild dimensions, help with crafting and is highly engaged in all aspects of rifts, not just raiding. This will be a spot where if you are retiring from raiding and are on you will be called upon and offered a first seat to farm raids as well as progression raids as needed.
Core Raider - someone who does their job and does what they're told. Shows exceptional DPS and raid awareness, comes prepared with multiple roles and is always on-time and rarely misses a raid.
Sub Raider - All the people who could be core raiders but due to their time constraints they can not devote 3 days to raid.
Tyro - is the "Trial" rank. Someone who is just starting out with us to try to raid on the team will be automatically given this rank.
Compiler - is someone who does everything BUT raid with us, for example they craft things for us or deposit materials into the guild bank. An exceptional person who does other things for the guild to keep it going.
Casual - is the intro-tier of the new ranking system. It is for ALL players who don't wish to raid with us and just come in for the guild perks.
